Seated comfortably at the terrace of a coffee shop, you enjoy a peach iced tea with a croissant while chatting with your new best friends, those women you didn’t know yesterday and who already feel like family.
You welcome the warmth of the sun as you watch the soft waves of the Mediterranean Sea. The Croisette, famous allée of the stars, stretches on both sides in front of you. On your left, the Carlton hotel, where many brave women, from Grace Kelly to Rhianna got to stay for a night or a week. On your right, the Palais des Festivals celebrating art, creativity and sharing light with others for over eighty years.
You close your eyes and listen to the call of seagulls. It feels like time has stopped, and your body fully relaxes, grateful of this moment of simple pleasure. You smile as you remember your recent arrival at the Villa Octopus, the breathtaking views, the soft colors of the limestone surrounding the pool, the large table where you can all sit and share a meal together.
You had to cross an ocean to get here, but the fatigue of the flight was erased as soon as you put your bags down and hugged your fellow travelers. La Cuisine: Love is in the air.
Joie de vivre starts around a table sharing a meal with some friends, simple fresh ingredients collected from the farmer’s market and put together artistically. The aroma of the coffee and the warm bread in the morning feels like a hug. As the day goes by, there is so much more to enjoy: fruits and vegetable locally harvested, pungent and creamy cheeses, fish caught on that very same day from the sea you see glistening under the sun.
You are in Provence where food is a balance of two of the best cuisines in the world, France and Italy. So be ready to have your taste buds stimulated like never before: squash blossoms with goat cheese, baña cauda, pissaladiere… and so many specialties that will expend your culinary horizon. Clean ingredients and delectable spices while respecting your specific dietary requirements.
Good food brings people together, creating laughter and great conversations. Depending on the day and the activities, we will enjoy our meals around the communal dining table, in the garden, by the pool, or downtown, on the beach, in the old town or in one of the many places that will make your heart sing.

Two meals will be provided daily. You will be free to explore what the city has to offer or choose to cook with any of the amazing ingredients available in the professional kitchen for your third meal. Snacks, fruits, and drinks will be available all day long.
Your Journey of Awakening
Day 1: Welcome
Today, your adventure begins. We’ll hold our first gathering, open the sacred space, and set the transformation in motion.
As part of our intimate circle of like-minded women, you’ll finally get a chance to meet your new friends in person and set a clear intent for this retreat.
In the evening, we will get together for a delightful and delicious family dinner, sip a glass of wine and relax.
You’ll settle in for the night feeling eager for it to begin!
Day 2: Let Go
This is the day you let go! The morning gathering prepares you for releasing all that no longer serves you. In the process, you come to understand how you’ve created those old, limiting patterns, and how YOU have the power to change them.
As we climb up the narrow streets of the old town, you recognize the beautiful lessons of your life so far. Finally, you reach the last steps of “Le Suquet”. Beyond the old stones, a new world opens in front of you: the future.
As you leave the plaza, every footstep is a step closer to your new vision. You are free.
Day 3: Rebirth
After sharing the wisdom brought by the night, we head out to the most sacred site in Cannes, the sea. Today’s theme is “being reborn.” And what could be more symbolic of rebirth than water, the in-and-out flow of the waves.
Through a highly inspiring “rebirthing ceremony,” you revisit the moment when your soul decided to come into a physical body. You reconnect and fall back in love with the light being you are. You remember what it feels like to be loved and cared for just for being, and in this space of safety and joy you sense all the possibilities present for you.
They have always been here, within you.
Day 4: Abundance
What if the world was a plentiful place of joy and abundance? Abundance of space, of time, of resources and possibilities.
Our morning will take us to the bountiful Marche Forville where you will be able to savor a plenitude of food, smell multitude of aromas, hear the call of the merchants and remember the richness of simple life.
As the day progresses, you will be treated to a day of French Joie de Vivre. Walking by the waterfront, stopping for a coffee and, for once, not rushing to do. Just being in the moment.

Day 5: Self-Love
You wake up relaxed and rested from the night and you are ready for a new day. After some gentle movements we get together for my favorite topic: YOU. You, being seen, heard, loved, and celebrated. Today’s theme is self-love, so be ready to be pampered.
After a luxuriant massage, we get together for a special treat: lingerie shopping. Your body will be celebrated and ornate in the sexiest still classy apparel. How about ending the day on the red carpet for a photoshoot celebrating the amazing woman you are?
A glass of champagne at the terrace of one of the most glamorous places in town, will conclude this day of celebration.
Day 6: Limitless Co-Creation
Let’s call in your guardian angels, your soul family, your wise ancestors, and of course, your higher self. Today you create your limitless future. You are already here, you sense the presence of your future professional success, the connection with your best love partner, the ease and flow of creation.
As you step on the sand, you are inspired and relaxed. For a moment, you are your future accomplished self. You turn around, you feel gratitude for the step you’ve already taken. And as you close your eyes, the path to your new vision lights up for you. You are clear and ready.
We will close this day with a sumptuous dinner under the stars.
Day 7: Farewell
Our journey together is coming to an end (at least on this retreat). We enjoy one last scrumptious breakfast together before gathering for a short closing ceremony. On this last day, you enjoy the beautiful morning with your new friends who now feel like family.
With a deep understanding and appreciation for what has been, you now are ready to move forward into what is to become.
The retreat will officially close at 11 am on October 14, so you can be back at the airport in time for your flight any time after 2 pm, on your way to your next destination.

Your Adventure: The Art of Fabulous Deliciousness
France is beautiful and delightful.
Encompassing so many different environments, from the buzzing city of Paris to the more peaceful coastal towns of the Atlantic Ocean or Mediterranean, France is rich in history and culture. One of most magical places though is the French Riviera. A region where creativity, glamour and pleasure are elevated to the rank of Art.
Climbing the 109 steps of the old town, relaxing on the beach, sitting at the terrace of a palace hotel, visiting the 5th century monastery of Saint Honorat Island, you will have the opportunity to experience French Joie de Vivre “up close and personal”.
You will also get the meet the French of the Italian border, who are some of the warmest and most hospitable people in the world. You will enjoy celebrating life with them, singing together after a glass of wine or dancing in the streets after a night of good food and laughter.
Now for a quick lay of the land: After your arrival in Nice Airport, you will be transported approximately 45 minutes to our accommodations at the Octopus Villa in the hills of the secluded part of Cannes called “California”. During that time, you’ll be breathing in the colorful landscapes and getting to know your fellow travelers.

First, I have walked in your shoes, moved more times than I can remember, been raised by a narcissistic mother, been bullied for being different, felt invisible and too much at the same time. I had to reinvent myself personally and professionally after divorce, while staying present for my kids. I have doubted myself, felt anxious and depressed, with apparently no logical reason. I’ve celebrated successes and collapsed in tears the next day.
But more importantly, today, after ten years of experience, helping over 1000 people, after publishing four books and taking my company to six figures, after going from lonely to traveling the world with an amazing man, I know I can help you in your own reinvention journey.

As a general overview, we will gather for teaching sessions twice a day. During the day, the training happens while exploring the different areas.
Some meals will be at the Octopus Villa, others will be in town. There will also be excursions and extracurricular activities, festivities and free time. -
For your comfort and relaxation, the rooms are single occupancy and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
Six of the rooms are facing the pool, three have a garden view.
This being said, we have a couple of suites that can accommodate comfortably two guests upon request.

No, this journey is for you, and we want you to come on your own.
The retreat is an amazing experience, yes, but it’s also a deep inner journey with an invitation for profound transformation. The more focused and present you can be, the more you will get out of this opportunity.
Once the retreat is over, your family is welcome, and you can easily go extend your travel in France or Italy for some extra days together. Please let us know, and we’ll be more than happy to support you with this.

Your personal journey actually starts as soon as you register, and you’ll get to know everyone through the private Facebook group. There, you will have plenty of time to connect with others, start building relationships, and share dreams and excitement about the upcoming trip!
On top of that, there will be a meet-and-greet session via Zoom to allow you time to break the ice and meet the ones who will be joining you.
The group and the venue are private and intimate. Rest assured; this is a safe space for you to be YOU.

That being said, every aspect of this journey has been selected and arranged with a greater purpose and mission in mind. It is intended to assist you in the transformation you desire, and you won’t want to miss even a step along the way.

Book your flight into Nice-Cote d’Azur Airport (NCE), arriving Sunday October 8, before 3 pm and departing Sunday October 14, 2023 before 2 pm.
As long as you arrive on time, once you’ve cleared customs and officially step onto French ground, you’ll be greeted by someone from our team.
From there on, you’ll be taken care of throughout your visit.
If you’re adventurous and have some time, Cannes and the surrounding area are well worth a few days’ visit. We’ll be happy to offer suggestions for your added enjoyment.

Your flight to and from Nice Airport (NCE) is NOT included into the price of this retreat, giving you the opportunity to extend your trip with some vacation time, or visit other destinations.
As of April 2023, you can find economy class round trips from Oct.7 to Oct. 14 between SFO to NCE in the range of $750 to $1200 depending on the number of stops and the airline you choose.

Please let us know your needs at least two weeks before the retreat, and we’ll take care of you. If what you need is not available, we will let you know, and together we’ll work on finding a solution.
Please clearly state any allergies and intolerances you might have, along with your dietary preferences. If the list of things you can’t eat is long, we may ask you for a list of things you can eat instead.

Yes, Cannes is very safe. That being said, we’ll also give you some common-sense guidelines to follow, just as you would traveling anywhere else in the world.
As long as your flights are within our recommended times, you’ll be taken care of from the moment you pass through immigration.
Our pre-trip documentation will give you all the information you need – such as bringing a refillable water bottle for filtered water, using a waist pack, and leaving your valuables at home.

Yes, we always highly recommend travel insurance that includes trip cancellation and medical coverage. Be sure to read the fine print, as policies can differ greatly.
While you’re at it, be sure to confirm with your travel insurance provider what Covid-19-related issues are covered and to what extent.

The climate is Mediterranean, so it is moderately warm in the fall, and you might experience a few drops, although in the past few years, the rains starts later and later.
In October, average temperatures are in the mid-sixties (high 70°F and low 54°F), so you can expect very pleasant temperatures during the day but be sure to bring layers for the evenings.
If the sun is out, we may be able to eat on the beach or even go for a swim. As much as possible, we time our daily activities to stay out of any rain, but make sure to bring proper attire just in case.

When you start packing for this incredible adventure, plan for comfortable and fun. You will also need a dressy attire for a special night out, so bring your sexy outfit (or be ready to shop!)
Think layers as you plan what to bring. Mornings and evenings can be cool, while the days can easily heat up to feel like summer. Dressing in layers is also a good way to protect yourself from the sun when you’re at the beach.
Since there might be some rain, you will want to include something moderately warm, like a sweater, that could be topped off with a raincoat. And don’t forget your walking shoes.
Once you decide to join us, we will provide a more detailed list of what to bring and what not to bring.

By all means, enjoy this beautiful city for as long as you want! But the villa will be returned to its owner on October 14 at 11am.
The retreat is officially over at 11 am-French Time on October 14, but there are all kinds of options and possibilities at your fingertips.
If you are looking to extend your stay on either end of your trip, we are happy to offer recommendations.

Yes, you will be able to stay connected with your loved ones. Wifi is available almost everywhere at the Villa Octopus, and you’ll find a strong signal all over the city.
That being said, the more you can disconnect from your life back home, the better the impact of this magical experience, so please plan to be “off the grid” as much as possible.

Your safety and wellbeing are very important to us! We will adhere to all COVID-19 travel requirements at the time of travel and will keep you informed of any updates.
At the time of this writing (April 2023), there are no requirements for vaccination or masks on this retreat, but you’re always welcome to wear a mask if you like. We will be providing N-95 masks and will also have some rapid Covid tests on hand if needed.
Please inquire for specifics if you’d like to know more. Also keep in mind that we don’t give refunds if you have to cancel, which makes it all the more important that your travel insurance includes Covid-related cancellations.
